Dana Loesch confronts ABC anchors on anti-gun hit piece

“I mean if we’re going to be afraid of things, let’s be afraid of that which actually exists in reality, not some pistol boogeyman born of a gun phobia.”

These were the words of conservative radio commentator and Fox and Blaze TV contributor Dana Loesch Friday as she took on the blatantly anti-gun anchors of ABC News.

ABC News aired a special report Friday evening called "Young Guns," which examined the issue of guns in America within the context of children who are injured or killed each year by persons with firearms. ABC anchors Diane Sawyer and David Muir presented a slanted report as is often the case with the mainstream media.

The Gun Rights and Liberty News Roundup for 1/31/2014

Mike Vanderboegh comments on the news that a federal judge, a Bush appointee, in Connecticut has ruled in favor of the state's draconian new gun control laws. More black-robed tyranny! Liberty is the loser. And the citizens are the losers.

David Codrea picks up and continues the enraging news from Connecticut and states that this is just the first in a long multi-year battle over Constitutional rights.

Kurt Hofmann says that in Illinois the anti-gun bigots are denying their attack on gun rights while at the same time working to repeal the Second Amendment to the Constitution. I'll tell you one thing, folks, if these Bolshevik bastards want a war, let them repeal it. They'll get one, right here on our own soil, and with many years' worth of costly damage.

WRSA posts a thorough essay on the current difficulties the nation faces, as noted by author Matt Bracken. A must-read.

Days of our Trailers points out a state representative in Illinois who is obviously a slithering, lying "progressive," not to mention an anti-gun bigot.

Alphecca points to a recent poll that shows more Americans now want LESS gun control, not more!

Way Up North reports the latest news on the serious situation that developed in Alaska in the Valdez area where an avalanche cut off the area from the rest of the state.

Roberta X ignored the State of the Union, as did many, but still managed to get in a zinger or two aimed at the bumbling bozo in chief.

Tam presents a little item that shows the complete lunacy of the politically correct crowd that claims that many of the ordinary, everyday terms we all use are just code words for racism and the like. Hint: she says her breakfast proves she loves Hitler. lol

Traction Control has a treasure trove of new products he added TODAY to his firearms business. Take a look.

The Wandering Minstrel posts a pic and commentary on the 686 S&W revolver.

Pamela Geller notes something refreshing and encouraging out of Hollywood for a change!

CLO says that "here are the 46 senators who voted to give your rights to the U.N."

Golden Geese News provides a must-read on the hoax of the global warming theory, and how he got caught up in it only to be shown the real truth later on. Good reading!

Brigid has a most interesting take on the seven deadly sins, along with an extended list of her own that she considers to be deadly sins. I knew I was in a heap of trouble and needed some good soul-saving when I realized I had committed all seven of the original deadly sins before I was 16.

Nikki declares that the Republicans have just insured that they will not get her vote, if they follow through with what the leadership seems hell-bent on doing. Take a look.

Stand Up America reports that its founder, respected retired Maj. Gen. Paul E. Vallely, has been falsely accused of secretly supporting al Qaeda and being a "Satanist." This is coming from conspiracy theorists who have an obvious malevolent agenda.

Mike McCarville informs us of the latest out of Oklahoma in the unexpected political battle shaping up for replacing U.S. Sen. Tom Coburn, R-Okla., who is resigning his seat due to health issues.

In the Middle of the Right has the must-read quote of the day.

Borepatch opines on the fact that he has something very unpleasant to do today, which he does not name, but which nonetheless I found to relevant, somehow, for us all.

Bayou Renaissance Man wonders if we have reached the tipping point. Read with the Borepatch post in mind.

Does the Republican Party have a death wish?

With Obama's approval numbers plummeting, public support for Obamacare crashing, and at least a dozen Congressional Democrats announcing in the last few days they are retiring, normally the Republican Party would be doing cartwheels with glee as this political goose with the golden egg laid one right in their laps, for free.
Rarely has any opportunity been seen in politics like the present perfect storm that is building to lay to waste Democrats. Conditions are more than ripe for a complete massacre in both the House and Senate in November, that is, except for one inexplicable factor. The Republicans looked their gift horse in the mouth and said, "No thank-you."

Nobody listening: Obama already a lame duck

With the release of the Nielson ratings today for the 2014 State of the Union Address Tuesday evening, two things have become apparent. Nobody is really listening to Barack Obama anymore. And that means that the president is already a "lame duck" with very little power at his disposal.

Gone, poof

Hi there.

I'm sure some of you thought that I had dropped off the face of the earth. Gone. Poof. But the collectivists began their dance of joy much too prematurely.

I am very much still here, just off the grid for a few days.

Glad you have hung in there with me in my absence, continuing to visit these pages.

Silicon tech expert declares Constitution is 'dead'

In response to a shocking ruling by Federal Judge Edward Korman, a veteran Silicon Valley tech expert has declared that the decision means the Constitution is dead.

At issue was an earlier decision in which a judge ruled that it is legal for the federal government to seize the possessions of citizens returning to the states from other countries without probable cause.

I'll be on the radio tonight

It has been a long time since I did a stint as a guest on a radio show. I took some time off from that nearly two years ago. At the time I was gearing up for a new venture as a co-host on broadcast radio, and I was not supposed to appear on any other radio show for several months prior to and after that venture was launched.

But shortly after launching the new show my partner became ill and took an extended leave. The show was hers, not mine, and so we went off the air.

At that time I decided I would remain mum as far as radio was concerned. I just didn't have the motivation to do it anymore when the show's star was beset with such difficulty. She is doing better now, back good as new, but not ready to do a show on her own quite yet.

But I got an invitation from some old friends over at JoAnne Moretti's Liberty Underground to be a guest on their show tonight. I will be on at roughly 8:10 p.m. ET.

I used to be on that show quite a bit several years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. It will be good to talk to my old friends on that show once again, so I am looking forward to it.

I will have the complete info and link for you later in the day.

What is McCain doing meeting with 'Spooky Dude' Soros?

In a meeting that created headlines all over the world, U.S. Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., met with atheist collectivist billionaire George Soros, whom TV and radio personality Glenn Beck once dubbed as "Spooky Dude."

Soros is widely known for funding hundreds of leftist, collectivist political action organizations, including the infamous Center for American Progress, which he created specifically as a think-tank for Hillary Clinton. He has also advised Barack Obama to ignore Constitutional limits on his power in order to "rule by executive order."
