Progressives target Texas for next takeover

Excerpts:

The Examiner has learned that political progressives in the United States have targeted Texas as the next state they intend to turn from red to blue, using the infamous "Colorado Model..."

...Two years ago the Examiner reported that the fact that Colorado was in the process of turning from a red state to a blue state was no accident, as this follow up report indicates. The process had been conceived and financed by some of the most notorious names of the political Left, which is more accurately described as "progressives" or "collectivists..."

...But who are these nameless, shadowy faces of the wealthy political left?

...Washington Free Beacon issued an investigative report that names the names. Here are but a few...

Hysteria over convention to amend Constitution misplaced

Excerpt:

"Curiously, unlike most traditional conservatives, Levin has concluded along with many patriots and libertarian-leaning citizens that the ballot box has failed the nation and thus is not enough to bring America out of its current Constitutional crisis. Similarly, Levin maintains that the answer is not in electing more conservatives to Congress along with a conservative president, either. He states that this has already been tried, and nothing in the long run changed. In like manner the courts have failed the nation as well, the most glaring example being the U.S. Supreme Court that violated Constitutional law by creating new law out of thin air in approving Obamacare.

"Levin, thus, concludes that the U.S. government is raging out of control in all three branches at the federal level."

Alright, an update

A scheduled trip to the eye specialist today revealed some more slight improvement, but he stated it would probably be at least another month before this inflammation clears up.

Well, that was just a FINE start to my morning.

I went to lunch after I finally got out of there, and bemoaned my condition, but then I happened to mull over the possibility that I could go blind and the fact that this is not happening. I am getting better, not worse. And my good eye is just fine.

So, I will count my blessings. I am not going blind, not even in one eye. The treatment is working. It is just taking longer. So, bear with me, and be sure to read my Examiner articles every day instead of a donation. Clicking on the links I provide to the Examiner costs you nothing but helps my pay.

I hope to be improved enough to start back with the Roundup next week perhaps.

Attack on Syria would be major mistake

During the Arab Spring of 2011, many conservative voices warned that U.S. intervention in Egypt would eventually result in disaster. Those voices were correct. Now, with the U.S. apparently on the brink of attacking Syria, yet another disaster lurks in the aftermath.

An attack on Syria would be a major mistake for the United States...

Ok, an explanation

Many of you have noticed that I have backed off the posting of the Gun Rights and Liberty News Roundup. No, I have not quit. There is a good reason for placing it on hold.

This time around my flare up of eye inflammation has been very slow to heal. Thus, while improvements have been noted, the process has been painstakingly slow.

The bottom line is I cannot keep my eyes glued on a computer screen for long periods. I have to do my Examiner articles, or else I don't get paid. But other things I can place on hold.

I appreciate your prayers. I will get back to posting the Roundup soon, I'm sure. But if you really want to help me then read my Examiner articles every day. It costs you nothing and takes very little of your time.

Thank you.

Sunstein appointment alarms conservatives, liberals alike

With Barack Obama's appointment of the infamous Cass Sunstein to a newly created panel to oversee the National Security Agency (NSA), conservatives and liberals alike have demonstrated that they can work together on certain issues regarding the power and reach of big government.

Sunstein is the former Harvard law professor who served during Obama's first term as administrator of the White House Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs. His appointment to the post drew howls of protests from conservatives and libertarians who were aware of Sunstein's undeniably extremist views on a variety of issues, such as using government informants to infiltrate citizen groups that oppose the growth and expansion of the size and scope of government.

How the regime tries to stop free speech

It is no big secret that the current regime we call the federal government tries to stop the practice of free speech. The secret lies in the methods it attempts to employ to silence ordinary citizens, which go unreported in the mainstream media and which most Americans never notice.

At present the primary method utilized by the Obama administration and its lackeys in Congress and in the courts is a deft attempt to define who can legitimately question government officials and report on their activities and statements.
