Defense Dept. defines conservatives as hate group, Framers as extremists

Excerpt:

"The document is a training manual that is used to educate DOJ employees. The manual states that those citizens who are concerned with individual liberties, states' rights, and 'how to make the world a better place' are potential extremists who likely belong to hate groups.

"And guess who is cited as the source for the material used in the training manual. The infamous Southern Poverty Law Center of Montgomery, Alabama that is well known to be itself an extremist Left wing group that advances its collectivist ideology by tarnishing conservative groups, including the tea party, with the charge of being 'potential terrorists.'

"Gun owners and those who oppose Islamic extremism are two of the favorite targets of the Southern Poverty Law Center."

How many lies can a president tell before he's given the boot?

Today President Barack Obama lied again. If you have been trying to keep count, you probably stopped a couple of hundred lies ago. Lies, smoke and mirrors, and deception have become the modus operandi of this administration.

And now the public has caught on. Thus, the question, how many lies can a president tell before he's given the boot?

WRSA has a helpful graphic showing how, exactly, the NSA scours Internet traffic in the United States.

David Codrea presents a stupefying example of the evil absurdity of citizen disarmament.

Republicans begin to defect

As previously reported, during the 2012 presidential election 4 million conservatives stayed home and refused to vote in order to protest the choice of Mitt Romney to be the Party's standard bearer against Barack Obama.

Further, the Examiner predicted that unless the Republican Party changes its ways and begins to select candidates that appeal to its base -- the conservatives -- then it will continue to lose key support until one day it fades completely as a relevant force in American politics...

Who will stop ongoing gov't illegal activity?

In spite of the furor of controversy that ensued when it was reported that a CIA operative, Edward Snowden, had leaked information proving that the U.S. government is illegally spying on multimillions of citizens without a warrant or court approval, the illegal activity that violates the protected rights of Americans has only continued.

National Intelligence Director James Clapper lied to Congress about the snooping. Eric Holder also lied. And Barack Obama has lied on multiple occasions in public statements concerning the surveillance program, which he insists is aimed at "foreign terrorists."

Yet Obama's claims do not square with the facts.

An update

The eye specialist is pleased with the progress we've made over the last week. I told him I couldn't tell much difference. He says that his sophisticated instruments show improvement, although there is still significant inflammation in one eye.

I said sarcastically but with a twinkle, "I am not sophisticated and I am certainly not an instrument. I just want to be able to read out of my plain old human eye." He laughed at that one.

He insists that I will be able to do exactly that in time. It's just gonna take time.

Still receiving daily treatment and all of that. That part will go on for quite a while yet. So, keep me in your prayers. I do deeply appreciate it.

Oh, by the way, sometimes I have to take a break from the computer screen. I will probably post something tonight.

David Codrea has explosive news on a woman who has asked for a temporary restraining order against Eric Holder in the contempt case against him in Congress, fearing that he would try to have her murdered!

Mike Vanderboegh posts TWO must-reads. First, a Congressman wants to ban all of the parts that could be used to build a semi-automatic gun. And second, an idiotic MSNBC talking head has referred to gun owners as "Neo-Confederates."

Kurt Hofmann points to yet another example of why the mantra, "The police will protect you," is a complete myth.

WRSA presents a must-read on the latest in the ongoing militarization of police. Read it all and follow the links. Then, click on his header to go the main page, and start scrolling. There is a wealth of new stuff there, and ALL of it is essential reading.

Mike McCarville posts a story that shows more police shenanigans as they are increasingly seizing personal property.

From Way Up North: "Response to Danger: Logic or Fear?"

CLO reports that a gun rights group has written a letter to the RNC asking that the Republican Party block the move to make Chris Christie the nominee in 2016. This is an open letter than citizens can sign.

Days of our Trailers provides an explanation on the new Illinois anti-gun bill.

Every Blade of Grass points to a detailed fact guide that shows why Woodrow Wilson (and FDR) are to be deplored by Americans, not celebrated. A LOT

Why Chris Christie will never be president

Here we go again. The Republican Party elitist establishment is pressuring New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie to seek the Party's nomination for president, according to various news sources today.

Henry Kissinger's endorsement today is the evidence that the elites have surveyed the political landscape for a candidate that suits their sensitivities, and apparently Christie fits the bill.

But Chris Christie will never be president. Why?

Massacre in Egypt is work of Muslim Brotherhood

The mainstream media and the Obama administration refuse to report an ongoing massacre in Egypt. Instead, the "murders" being reported are the ones conducted by the Egyptian military and those who oppose the notorious terrorist organization, the Muslim Brotherhood.

But the administration and the media continue to totally ignore the other story behind the story -- the Muslim Brotherhood is torching and ransacking Christian churches, and killing Christians and Jews.

Off to the specialist again...

Well, I'm off to see the eye specialist again today. This time progress on the eyes has been extremely slow. I want to see what's going on.

Sooooo, that means in all likelihood I won't be posting anything further today. But I might. We shall see.

You never know what I'm liable to do. :)

Why evil triumphs

"All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing."
--attributed to Edmund Burke (1729 - 1797), Irish political philosopher who is considered the father of modern conservatism, although the exact quote cannot be found in its current form in Burke's statements. The statement is true nonetheless.
