LaPierre: Place 'armed police officers in every school'

At a news conference today, Wayne LaPierre of the National Rifle Association (NRA) stated that in order to address security concerns at schools across the country, "armed police officers should be placed in every school," according to Katie Pavlich of Townhall.

LaPierre criticized the fact that under age children are inundated, beginning at an early age, with images of violence in popular video games, music, and movies...

Why You Should Not Worry About Doomsday Predictions for Friday

It's all here:

Martin Christian Ministries.

Thanks, and God bless!

NO, you stupid idiot...

...the Second Amendment has NOTHING to do with "hunters' rights." Nothing whatsoever!

Read the FOUNDERS! Gun rights were placed in the Bill of Rights to the U.S. Constitution so that INDIVIDUAL citizens could protect themselves, especially from tyrannical governments, like a foreign invader or EVEN OUR OWN GOVERNMENT IF IT IS OVERRUN WITH TYRANTS WHO TRAMPLE ON OUR RIGHTS!

Get that through your thick skulls and stop with your incessant diversionary tactics.  We're onto you, we know what you're up to, and we know you want to disarm all of us. We also know YOU WILL NEVER SUCCEED.

We will defy you and your laws. We will not comply. We will disobey. Millions of us. We will NEVER under ANY circumstance disarm or give up ANY firearms that are currently legal to own.

And yes, we are prepared to die for it. ARE YOU PREPARED TO MURDER US FOR IT?

Better be sure what you are doing. This is life and death. We are not playing.

The 2A News Roundup--Top Ten for Thurs., Dec. 20, 2012

All guns and politics from the best gun rights and liberty bloggers on the Internet.

Mike Vanderboegh reports that the ChiComs support proposals to ban guns and pass new gun control laws in the U.S. As I understand it, so do the Iranians. Commies, Sharia nations, and all totalitarian governments support it. THAT should tell you something.

David Codrea points to an article at Slate claiming that gun owners are a threat to the safety of the anti-gun bigots. ROFL! Seems they got it backwards.

Kurt Hofmann cites the threat to private gun sales as an even bigger danger than an assault weapons ban.

WRSA links to a piece on civilian disarmament and the war on self-reliance.

Stand Up America has the latest on the U.S. Marine being held in a dangerous Mexican prison for...well...nothing. And wait till you see what the Mexican ambassador said about it. This is a travesty. What's even worse is Obama and Hillary's inaction.

Tam points to an important read on how "gun violence" is terribly overblown.

Way Up North displays the Oathkeepers' pledge to disobey any order to disarm.

Days of our Trailers says that Elmer Fudd has been chosen to head up the Democrats' task force to disarm the citizens.

Every Blade of Grass suggests that Nancy Pelosi must be smokin' a mind-altering substance given what she said about magazines. LOL. Take a look. I honestly don't think she's been smoking. She is certifiably insane.

CLO asks, "Who is really at fault in these shootings?"

Citizens defiant over proposed gun laws

Citizens who believe that their constitutional rights are being threatened by the current push toward gun bans and new gun control laws are becoming increasingly defiant toward their government. Gun rights groups state today that they plan to do something about it -- an open expression of their grievances.

Before the dead were even identified, the liberal political machine and their advocates in the mainstream media were using the Newtown, Conn. massacre to demand gun bans and new gun control laws. In one unified chorus the machine has been relentless in its demands, blaming guns, and by extension law abiding gun owners, for the massacre and others like it.

The political and media machine clearly already had the template written even before the Connecticut shooting took place. The only thing needed was an excuse to introduce it.

Official Benghazi report blames State Department

The official report released late Tuesday from the oversight review committee within the State Department blames the Department itself for systemic failures leading to the Benghazi attacks that led to the deaths of the U.S. ambassador to Libya and three other Americans on Sept. 11, 2012.

The report did not, however, call for any disciplinary action against individuals within the State Department.

But in a damning indictment against the Obama administration, the report states that there was no spontaneous protest...

The 2A News Roundup--Top Ten for Tues., Dec. 18, 2012

All guns and politics from the best gun rights and liberty bloggers on the Internet.

Roberta X highlights the rank ignorance of those who are calling for gun bans and new gun control laws. You would expect non gun owning citizens to make these errors, but news reporters and anchors? What imbeciles!

Nicki says that "the Leftist ghouls are salivating at the thought of relieving you of your rights."

Traction Control notes that his ammo stock level is now only 50% of what is was before the election. In other words, sales are skyrocketing. This is true also with guns. As I understand it not only did the election spur an historic boom in gun sales, but after the school shooting even more records have been broken.

The Smallest Minority has the must-read quote of the day.

Larry Pratt of the GOA notes that the ban on semiautomatic weapons did not work back in the 90s, and it won't work now.

Karl Denninger reports bombshell news on the Connecticut shooter that, if true, will be an infamous "smoking gun" that nobody is yet reporting. Take a look.

The War on Guns calls our attention to a great offer, if teachers will take advantage of it.

Blonde Sagacity provides a piece from a guest blogger today who says, "Arm the teachers!"

Mike Vanderboegh says, "If this gets rid of Boehner as Speaker before the fight over firearms rights, it will have been worth it." Read it all.

Mike McCarville notes a school in Texas where teachers are armed.

Carney says Obama to support gun ban, new gun control laws

Politico is reporting today that White House Press Secretary Jay Carney has confirmed that President Obama will "strongly support" a proposed gun ban and new gun control laws.

Carney's statement came in response to a question about a proposed bill to be introduced in the 2013 session of Congress by U.S. Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif. Feinstein wants a ban on so-called assault weapons, which are actually high powered, high capacity firearms. These firearms have often been erroneous referred to as automatic, military grade weapons by numerous reporters and anchors in the media.

News anchors tip hand, support gun confiscation

CNN anchor Don Lemon went on an anti-gun rampage Monday, stating, "We need to get guns and bullets and automatic weapons off the streets."

And in a stunning admission of what conservatives have always known about the mainstream media and liberal politicians, an MSNBC anchor tipped his hand Saturday by stating that the objective of gun control advocates is outright confiscation.

The 2A News Roundup--Top Ten for Monday, Dec. 17, 2012

All guns and politics from the best gun rights and liberty bloggers on the Internet.

Mike Vanderboegh says that the talking heads at Pravda -- NBC, the "National Broadcasters of Communism" -- have offered to Barack Obama a way to "beat" Second Amendment advocates. What a sham and a disgrace.

David Codrea reports that an NRA A+ rated politician, a so-called "pro-gun Democrat," has shown his true colors in this assault on our rights. The NRA has been mum tighter than lockjaw. Let's face the facts. The NRA will sell us out, as always when it is really important.

Kurt Hofmann notes that a Congressman wants to exploit murdered children and initiate a war with the NRA. If he really wants a fight with gun activists with gonads, let him bypass the limpy NRA and come after the rest of us, who align with GOA and JPFO.

WRSA has a must-see on a reasoned response to school violence.

Gun Owners of America lays out the truth about the Newtown shooting plainly and briefly.

Way Up North offers up the quote of the week.

Tam cites Obama claiming that weapons designed for theaters of war don't belong on our streets. THEN WHY THE HELL DO THE POLICE HAVE THEM?????!!

Alphecca asks some pertinent questions regarding mental illness and making timely interventions early on with our young who are clearly disturbed. It is NOT about the guns, folks. Anyone who says that it is is LYING for political reasons.

Pamela Geller adds her commentary to the discussion on the current madness regarding guns and killers.

Stand Up America has more evidence on the fact that Eric Holder displays a blatant contempt for the rule of law. And then today the BASTARD said "we must reconsider Constitutional rights." It's coming folks. An all-out full assault. Are you ready for deadly tyranny?

Gun rights activists warn of consequences of more gun control

Despite the fact that numerous published studies show that strict gun control laws and gun bans do not correlate to a drop in violence, invariably the mainstream media and liberal politicians rush to politicize high profile tragedies such as the Newtown, Conn. massacre in an attempt to ram through more firearms control legislation. But gun rights activists warned Sunday of the dire consequences of any move by politicians to enact more restrictive gun control or to ban so-called assault weapons.
