Gun owners brace for possible Obama victory

Statistics have shown that ever since the presidential campaign of 2008, gun and ammunition sales have skyrocketed in the United States. The firearms industry has been one of a tiny group of businesses that not only survived the "great recession" but enjoyed a major boost in sales. Most gun store owners report that a major factor in the surge is President Obama's known anti-firearms views.

The upward trend in gun sales continues this year in the 2012 presidential campaign season, according to an article Friday in the Wall St. Journal, as gun owners brace for a possible Obama victory in November, not because they expect him to win but because they wish to be prepared just in case.

Mystery continues to deepen in embassy attacks

News spread like wildfire Thursday with regard to numerous reports in the media that the Obama administration had 48 hours notice prior to the embassy murders that a terrorist inspired attack was imminent on or around the anniversary of 9/11.

The mystery surrounding the reports continued today as the State Department issue denials that it had any prior warning of danger.

In spite of the denials, emails sent by the U.S. Ambassador to Libya and his staff indicate that all were aware of the possibility of deadly attack.

Obama rejects meeting with Netanyahu but welcomes Muslim Brotherhood

One of the many stories fueled by the raids on U.S. embassies by Islamic extremists in Egypt and Libya has been that President Obama rejected a meeting requested by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Critics have been swift to condemn the president over the rejection, particularly in light of the most recent intelligence reports indicating that Iran now has a cache of nuclear missiles that can hit any Israeli city.

However, news has leaked today that Obama initiated an invitation to Egyptian President Mohammad Morsi, a member of the Muslim Brotherhood, to meet with him in New York next week.

Report says ObamaCare to result in higher death rate for seniors

In 1997 when Congress and the Clinton administration cut payment rates to hospitals for the treatment of Medicare patients, statistics show that death rates increased by 7 percent in those facilities that incurred the most drastic cuts.

Based upon the statistics from 1997, a new report today indicates that ObamaCare will result in higher death rates for senior adults due to the drastic cuts in the amount hospitals will be paid to treat Medicare patients.

In order to fund ObamaCare, the administration implemented cuts to the Medicare program totaling over $700 billion. But in order to assuage the fears of seniors that their benefits will be cut, Obama has reassured seniors that the cuts will not impact them directly but only hospitals.

A retired agent of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) has revealed all of the clandestine facts concerning the agency's operation known as Fast and Furious, the illegal scheme that placed thousands of firearms in the hands of Mexican drug criminals.

On Friday, GunMag, a publication of the Second Amendment Foundation, reported that the former agent revealed all to one its national correspondents in an informal talk at the firing range. The agent revealed that Fast and Furious was only one of a three pronged approach by the ATF to place draconian restrictions on the gun rights of American citizens.
