Knowing vs. Knowing About

I have something that is vital for you to read. I hope you will read it. This is of utmost importance.

You can find it at the ministry site by clicking here.

Whatever you do, please don't miss this, my friends. I rarely do stuff like this, but it is just that important. If you don't pay attention to anything else I say, please, at least give this your consideration.

Omen--electricity rates to soar; rolling blackouts nationally

"Under my plan, energy costs will necessarily skyrocket." -- Democratic Presidential candidate Barack Obama in January of 2008, as told to the San Francisco Chronicle. Video here.
Those powerful words, a dark omen of what was to come, are now coming into fruition.
Today the Washington Post and Bloomberg are reporting that the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) plans to implement sweeping new regulations that will shut down coal plants across America, resulting in a steep spike in electricity costs and rolling blackouts across the country.
Coal is the source of nearly half of the electricity generated in America today. Without coal electricity will immediately become more costly to produce, and electric companies will be faced with shortages, forcing them to implement rolling backouts in order to accommodate severe power shortfalls.

Obama to weasel out of Gunwalker scandal through another OKC attack?

According to blogger/citizen reporter Mike Vanderboegh, 'In a regime of criminals, pay attention to what the head crook says.'
It has become common knowledge among those who have reported the Project Gunwalker scandal from the start that the trail of criminal activity leads all the way to the Oval Office. But this cabal originated in Chicago. They are schooled in what is widely known as 'the Chicago Way,' referring to the overt corruption and deadly criminal activity associated with Chicago politics.
And that means that those implicated in wrongdoing will do practically anything to weasel their way out of their woes.

Why are the media ignoring Ron Paul?

In any campaign for the Presidency, media attention is key. And in an era in which Americans get their news on the run in the midst of super-busy lives that are complicated by the struggle to make a living, pay the bills, raise the kids, and avoid a mortgage default, media attention is even more important, especially when a story is the lead newsmaker for any particular news cycle.
Americans, through no fault of their own, are limited by the restrictions of time to the lead stories and headlines. And in a political campaign if a candidate cannot manage to become the subject of lead stories on a fairly regular basis, then they will not get the attention of most Americans.
And this brings us to the question posed by the headline of this article today--why are the media ignoring Ron Paul?
Further, why are some of the other major candidates failing to garner the attention of the mainstream media moguls when they sit down to write their lead news stories?

Actually, terrorists from Egypt attacked Israel, and Israel bombed Gaza

My earlier post, which I left up, is erroneous as it turns out.

But the point is the same.

The terrorist attacks in Israel on Thursday originated in Egypt, but rather than bombing Egypt, Israel retaliated by conducting air strikes on Gaza.

So, Egypt was not bombed. But it did initiate terrorist attacks on Israelis.

Israel Bombs Egypt

In response to terrorist attacks on Israelis today, Israel conducted air strikes against Egypt.

We knew this was coming as soon as the so-called 'grassroots demand for democracy' showed its ugly face for what it was--a ruse to allow radical elements within Islam to gain control of the country and begin to attack Israel.

I am not at all shy about saying, 'I told you so.'

All guns and politics, from the best gun rights and liberty bloggers on the Internet.

David Codrea says that Obama's warning about a 'lone wolf' terrorist attack will produce howls for 'gun control.'

Mike Vanderboegh has THE video proving that Joe Biden did, indeed, call the Tea Party terrorists, despite his denials and that of some top level Democrats, including Obama.

WRSA provides a reminder that TOMORROW is the day for the big 'Restore the Constitution Rally' at the State Capitol Building in Atlanta, Georgia.

Kurt Hofmann comments on the new 'long gun' regulation for border states.

The Gun Values Board discusses the value of your gun, which could be in the thousands depending on its condition. Take a look.

Days of our Trailers posts 'the quote of the day.' LOL.

Tam dishes out some well-deserved snark at Obama and company over their laughable, hilarious 'bus tour' that has been the subject of much scornful humor.

Newbius blogs on 'stocking up.' The wise will take heed.

Breda notes that her favorite gun store has been robbed, and the ATF issued a statement--interesting wording given what we know about Project Gunwalker!

Squeaks gives us an update on what's been happening in her life, not the least of which is her ongoing struggle with lime disease.

Is it time to bear down on Obama in Gunwalker scandal?

Major breaking news today points to the next level of investigations into the now-infamous ATF-DOJ Gun Smuggling Scandal known as 'Project Gunwalker.' Increasingly those who have reported on the story from the very beginning, long before the illegal scheme received any play at all in the mainstream media, are suggesting that it is now time to bear down on Barack Obama in the Gunwalker scandal.
Given that the mainstream media refuses to do its job in thoroughly investigating and reporting this sad and dangerous chapter in American politics, the 'new media'--citizen journalists, bloggers, and reporters in the alternative media--are charged with the task of doing what Woodward and Burnstein did in exposing the corruption of the Nixon Administration during the Watergate scandal.

Does Anyone Care?

Many people truly wonder if anyone in this world cares about them.

This issue is discussed briefly this evening at Martin Christian Ministries.

I hope you find encouragement tonight, my friends, and may God bless.

Video--daughter of Che Guevara proves Progressive/Islamist alliance

As a brutal henchman for Fidel Castro during the days of the Communist Revolution in Cuba, Che Guevara murdered thousands of persons in the name of 'liberation.' Not only did he launch extermination campaigns within Cuba aimed at any who opposed Castro but he conducted murderous incursions into various countries in the region in the name of the Marxist principles which he espoused. Che was also a key figure in the Cuban Missile Crisis when Cuba allowed the Soviet Union to aim missiles directly at the United States.
In 1967, with the help of CIA operatives, the Bolivian government killed Che due to his aiding and abetting a Communist insurgency that was intent on the overthrow of the government. Immediately Che became a revered martyr for Marxists/Communists/Socialists/Progressives all over the world. Che had a daughter who is currently active in preserving his memory and goals today.

My New Radio Gig

Beginning on Sunday, August 28, 2011 at 11 AM, I will be a regular contributor on radio station WFHT AM 1390 in Avon Park, Florida, which includes the Orlando area.

I will join hosts Lori Hendry, Lin DiCesare, and Ginger Carlisle on the "A Voice for Freedom" radio show.

My segment will focus on the top political news stories of the previous week.

I am excited about this opportunity to be part of this wonderful show on a growing radio station in central Florida. The station has attracted new listeners by the droves and the attention of movers and shakers in politics. Florida Governor Rick Scott, for example, is scheduled as a guest during the month of August.

Several weeks ago I was a guest for the entire hour on the show, and the hosts and I hit it off wonderfully. We decided that the partnership would be a good fit.

For those who do not live in the Avon Park area, you can listen livestream on the Internet by following the link provided on the station's website, which I have provided above.

Join us each Sunday morning at 11 AM to 12 Noon! Tell a friend?

All guns and politics from the best gun rights and liberty bloggers on the Internet.

Kurt Hofmann reports the DOJ rewarded those involved in the gunwalker mess by promoting them!

David Codrea reports the NYT ran a hit piece on Darrell Issa in an attempt to protect the corrupt Obama Administration.

WRSA cites ominous news indicating that the central banks and governments of the U.S. and the EU will not be able to rescue a crumbling economy as they did in 2008. Upshot? We're screwed.

Tam explains why she is a bit obsessive-compulsive about chamber checks on firearms.

The Wandering Minstrel blogs on an intriguing tactical type rifle. Take a look.

CLO offers an interesting perspective on Texas Governor Rick Perry. As for me, I remain lukewarm toward his candidacy unless I get satisfactory answers about issues already discussed here.

Arlen Williams at Gulag Bound, on the other hand, reports that Governor Perry has a soft spot for Islamists and Norquists. Not good.

Suffolk County Liberty Report provides news and commentary on the Obama-favored solar energy company, which received millions in stimulus funds from taxpayers, that went belly-up.

Patriots Duty asserts that a modern-day King George is in the White House. Good reading.

The Anti-Liberal Zone has a must-read on the continuing betrayal from the Left. You can't miss this one!

Interview with reporter who helped expose the ATF Gunwalker scandal

In the waning days of 2010 reporter David Codrea and blogger/citizen investigative reporter Mike Vanderboegh received disturbing information from inside the ATF--the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives--which indicated that the agency was engaged in an illegal operation that resulted in at least 2000 U.S. guns winding up in the hands of Mexican drug cartels.

Whistleblowers inside the ATF were so appalled by what they witnessed that they felt it necessary to expose the illegal activity by going to the media. However, in modern America, particularly since the campaign and election of Barack Obama, the media by and large are uninterested in investigating and reporting any vital information that portrays the current power structure in a negative light. Their hypocrisy is most evident in their enthusiastic zeal in smearing figures such as Sarah Palin with scant evidence except for innuendo and rumor. But solid, irrefutable facts concerning the ominous background, connections, and activities of the Obama machine are routinely ignored.
Thus, the whisteblowers started their own venue by which to disseminate their explosive information--a website called CleanUpATF.org..
In an exclusive interview at the Gun Values Board, David Codrea describes his involvement in the case, his years of experience in gun rights journalism, and his discovery of explosive information at the CleanUpATF.org site.

Fear Not

Good advice.

Read all about it here.

We live in dangerous times, folks, and they will only grow more dangerous. This is no time for us to cower in the face of it. Suck it up and find some courage! We must hold the line and defend what we hold dear!

The Danger Zone

The news today concerning the latest Gallup poll on Barack Obama's job approval is very significant. The poll places him at only 39% approval.

And why is this significant?

Two reasons.

First, the organization that did the polling is GALLUP, which has tended to give Obama high approval in its surveys, despite the fact that other firms such as Rasmussen have shown a much lower rating for Obama. The fact that Gallup's poll would show such a dismal approval rating means that something major is taking place--far worse for Obama than is being reported. If Gallup is showing it, you know it is extra bad.

Second, history has shown that any President who drops below the 40% approval level is in 'the danger zone.' A few polling firms showed a 39% approval for Obama just prior to the November 2010 massacre in which Republicans picked up more seats in Congress than any session in 70 years. But even then, Gallup never showed the President with such a low approval rating.

The fact that Gallup's survey indicates such low numbers means that unless there is significant change in the economy, he is doomed in 2012. And even then he may be gone. He has major trouble brewing on several fronts.

The 2A Roundup--Top Ten for Monday, August 15, 2011

All guns and politics from the best gun rights and liberty bloggers on the Internet.

Mike Vanderboegh updates us on the Gunwalker scandal, and zeros in on the New York Times' latest claptrap.

Way Up North provides his firing range report from yesterday.

Breda shows off her new black gun t-shirt, which is available to anyone wishing to buy them.

John Jacob H has the facts--flying in the face of modern revisionists--which show that on Aug. 13, 1981, President Ronald Wilson Reagan signed into law the largest tax cuts in U.S. history. And as a side note, the important thing to remember is that tax RATES were lowered. That means that in spite of any increases forced on him later on, the lowered RATES meant that Americans still payed much less in taxes than they did when he took office.

Brigid attended a birthday bash given in her honor, which she describes in this post. Happy Birthday!

Kurt Hofmann provides an update on the latest move by the regime to designate as 'terrorists' anyone who makes certain purchases.

Nicki posts a good political cartoon on the Gunwalker scandal. Take a look.

From the Barrel of a Gun is back in business after a long absence, and he has a brand new look for his blog.

Mike McCarville writes on one of the drawbacks of post-operative heart surgery. LOL.

Pamela Geller reminds us that on September 20 the Islamic Jihad in Gaza will make a move at the U.N. to establish a terror state right on the doorstep of Israel.

Postulate--USA is now like United Flight 93

In the coming weeks as the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks draws near, Americans will hear more and more concerning the events of that dreadful day during which nearly 3000 citizens lost their lives. While each aspect of the attacks is still riveting and mind-boggling to this very day, perhaps no greater example of the valor and courage of the average American citizen exists than those who were aboard the ill-fated United Flight 93, which crashed into the Pennsylvania countryside.
Sensing that they were on a collision course with a structure in Washington, D.C.--some say the White House, others, the Capitol Building--the valiant citizens aboard that flight decided to fight back. Taking matters into their own hands, they hastily devised a scheme to storm to the front of the aircraft, killing the terrorist who threatened them, and then bursting through the cockpit door where 2 more terrorists occupied the posts previously held by the pilots they had brutally slain.
They succeeded in these 2 initial goals. But they were not able to wrest control of the plane from the terrorist pilot despite waging an heroic effort to do so. The plane, as we now know, crashed into the Pennsylvania countryside where all who were aboard lost their lives. But the courageous citizens succeeded in preventing the aircraft from being used as a missile to hit the White House or the Capitol Building.
And this brings us to a postulate concerning the state of affairs in the U.S. today, using the aircraft as an instructive metaphor--the USA is now like United Flight 93.

Video--proof positive that media covers for progressives

The video that is embedded in the left column provides proof positive that the mainstream media covers for progressives. As you will see, the entire exchange has been captured on camera, making it difficult for anyone in the media or among America's progressive elite to deny the charge. The complete story of the confrontation is recounted here.
Admittedly the reporter whose question to U.S. Senator Dick Durbin, D-Illinois, is a conservative who writes for the Washington Times. Progressives will routinely denounce such persons and their questions merely because of who employs them. The dismissal usually goes like this--'Well, what do you expect? The reporter in question works for (fill in the blank, such as Fox News, Glenn Beck, Andrew Breitbart, or the Washington Times, etc). Their questions are automatically suspect because they are posed from a conservative bias.'
How thorough is the abject and near-pathological denial that characterizes the vast majority of the progressive, Leftwing mainstream media. In their pompous, elitist snobbery toward conservative journalists, they walk around in a daze as if they have been hypnotized by a Jim Jones-like figure, oblivious to their own delusions.
The prevailing wisdom among the ivory-towered ink-slingers is that their world-view, their mindset, is the norm. In their way thinking they are not 'Leftwing' and express no liberal or progressive bias whatsoever.
