Breaking...Memorial Service in Tucson Turns into Political Rally

Disgusting.

Conservative Examiner reports.

If I were a family member, I would be sick enough to vomit, and thoroughly outraged.

Second Amendment News Roundup for 1/12/2011

All guns and politics, from the best gun rights-and-liberty bloggers on the Internet!

David Codrea declares that the current attempts to restrict liberty in the aftermath of the Tucson shootings will only galvanize gun owners.  Indeed, handgun purchases shot up by over 60% immediately after the massacre, indicating that Americans are even more determined to protect themselves against criminals and nutcases.

Blonde Sagacity has the video of Sarah Palin's response to the Arizona murders.  Excellent!

The Anti-Liberal Zone has some good news for conservatives today, indicating that in the eyes of most Americans, the attempts to blame us for the Tucson massacre have failed miserably.

Vanderboegh blogs on the remarkable Mossberg 500 riot gun.

Tam posts a great comment on the asinine proposal by Congressman Peter King, R-NY, that citizens be disallowed from bringing guns within 1000 feet of elected officials.

The Graph has a MUST-read entitled, 'The Tragedy of Modern Life.'

Around O-Town says that 'Uncle Jimbo' breaks it all down for the Leftwing mouthpieces. (Video).

WRSA relays a warning from Karl Denninger--'if you're wondering how freedom dies, you're seeing it.'

Brigid muses on one of the great mysteries of life--the fact that we as human beings love no more than we are afraid to lose.  Some deep contemplative thought for inquiring minds...

Kurt Hofmann has more on Peter King's anti-gun proposal, claiming that the Congressman wishes to surround himself with a 72-acre Constitution-free zone.

Alphecca comments on the Westboro cult and its plans for the funeral of the 9-yr-old girl who was killed Saturday.  These people are nuts.  And let's get one thing straight, this is no 'church' and they are most assuredly not 'Baptist.'  I take offense to their use of those terms when it is clear this is nothing more than a hate-cult.

Way Up North weighs in on the ongoing discussion concerning the 1911 pistol.

Nicki points out that the infamous anti-gun Congresswoman Carolyn McCarthy, D-NY, is up to her familiar antics again in light of the Tucson massacre.  All it takes for the Leftwing nutcases to go berserk is for something like the Arizona shooting to occur.

The Oxpecker has explosive news on House Republicans who, if this is true, have insured we are stuck with Obama for quite some time to come.

Newbius says he is ready for a subject-change.  He may be speaking for all of us.

Roberta X provides an update on her offer to autograph her new book, which is now on sale.  Take a look!

I usually reserve The Ol' Broad's political cartoons for Fridays.  But in light of the week we've had, I think now is a good time to see them.  She has a new batch of goodies, and I mean FUNNY goodies.  Go see.

Arizona Sheriff Knew in Advance about Loughner

New information is emerging today indicating that Sheriff Clarence Dupnik of Pima County, Arizona, knew full well of the danger posed by Jared Lee Loughner.  But he did basically nothing to protect Giffords and Judge Roll.

Read all about it at Conservative Examiner.

Instead, in order to cover his gross negligence, Dupnik has launched into yet another attack on Rush Limbaugh.

EXPOSED! DOCUMENTATION OF LEFTWING HATE, THREATS

As the Leftwing nutcases continue this afternoon to blame conservatives for the Tuscon shooting, I expose them for who they really are.

Full documentation, including screen shots of Leftwing hate and threats are all provided at Conservative Examiner.

A current Pennsylvania Congressman, a DEMOCRAT, even said that newly elected Florida Governor Rick Scott should be 'lined up against a wall and shot.'

Second Amendment News Roundup for 1/11/2011

All guns and politics, from the best gun-rights-and-liberty bloggers on the Internet!

WRSA has news on the despicable Sheriff of Pima County, who apparently had numerous run-ins indicating Loughner was a danger to himself and others long before the shooting on Saturday.

The Graph provides documentation of the dangerous, hate-filled rhetoric of the Leftwing on Saturday that blamed conservatives for the shooting long before it was even known who the shooter was!

The Anti-Liberal Zone posts the long history of violence and threats on the part of the Leftwing.

David Codrea says that the New Zealand newspaper that blasted him over his comments on guns is digging itself an even deeper hole with comments made today.

Kurt Hofmann names a certain legislator who is joining the bandwagon in blaming conservatives for the Tuscon shooting.  This is getting ridiculous, folks.

Way Up North points to a a very appropriate observation about how politics in a free society is necessarily messy.

Squeaks could use our thoughts and support in light of a recent setback.  Take a look.

Newbius has a hilarious comment concerning Rahm Emanuel, Chicago, and 'dead fish.'  ROFL!!

Traction Control posts a must-read from the Investor's Business Daily concerning exploiting a tragedy.

21 Guns Salute has 'a side thought' on the Arizona shooting.

From Behind the Parapet: 'Sticks and Stones.'

Goldberg to Mainstream Media--'Shut the Hell Up!'

Former CBS newsman Bernard Goldberg has a special message for the mainstream media and others who politicize the Tuscon shooting.

Read all about it at Conservative Examiner.

And today the mantra only intensifies.  Senators Kerry, Leahy, and Durbin have all jumped on the blame conservatives bandwagon.  Despicable.

Blood Libelous Leftwing Could Learn from Obama's Response to Shooting

Obama, believe it or not, was a good example of how to handle a national tragedy.  The Leftwing goons should learn from their leader.

Read my commentary on the subject at Conservative Examiner.

In his remarks on Saturday, Obama blamed NO ONE...zilch.  He didn't even use the shooting to call for more gun control.  If HE can change his tone, why can't the rest of the Leftwing minions?

Second Amendment News Roundup for 1/10/2011

All guns and politics, from the best gun rights-and-liberty bloggers on the Internet!

David Codrea reports that the usual suspects are lining up to exploit the shooting in Tuscon.

Vanderboegh says it is downright stupid to assert that inflamed rhetoric is to blame for nutjobs.  The American experience is proof.  Go back and read the historical record of what our forebears endured and dished out in debate...this nation was born out of inflamed political rhetoric.  Take that away, and liberty is lost.

WRSA has two must-reads on the growing attacks on political free speech as a result of the Tuscon shooting.

Newbius provides more on this issue with 'blood-dancing ghouls.'

Nicki offers her insightful commentary on the shooting.

Breda provides links to several pieces, including one on the politics of blood libel.  Good reading!

Kurt Hofmann reports that gun-ban extremist Rep. Carolyn McCarthy, D-NY, is introducing legislation in the House to exploit the Tuscon tragedy by calling for more gun control and gun bans.

Alphecca has more on exactly what McCarthy intends to do.

Pamela Geller is reporting that Loughner had targeted Congresswoman Giffords back in 2007, before there was a Tea Party and before Sarah Palin became nationally-known--yet another fact that shows the Leftwing nutcases are trumping up false charges concerning this shooting.

Brigid posts some updates on what she's been doing and thinking, post-surgery.

Way Up North has news from the Alaska state legislature.

Standing By muses that 'Muslims take kissing cousins seriously.'

From Days of our Trailers: 'Sickening Responses and Blatant Ignorance.'

The Smallest Minority gives an answer from Churchill concerning 'what's wrong with a little Socialism?'

Liz Blaine has a great quote in answer to the question, 'Who is John Galt?'

BREAKING...Loughner Conducted Bizarre, Satanic Rituals

The news this morning provides further insight into the mind of alleged shooter Jared Lee Loughner.

Conservative Examiner reports.

This guy is far from the 'right-wing activist' the Left claims.  Rather, he is a nutjob who engaged in the occult, as police discovered in a shrine he had erected behind his home.
