A Scathing Response to Obama's Appeal to God

Barack Obama, in obvious desperation, has recruited Leftwing religious leaders to help promote ObamaCare.

In my latest column at Columbia Conservative Examiner, I expose this supposed appeal to God and our 'moral obligation' as nothing more than an appeal to Marxism.

If anything, we have a moral obligation to OPPOSE Obama's healthcare plan!

Please read and pass along!

Fisking Obama's Ramadan Remarks Today

Today marks the beginning of the Islamic season of 'Ramadan.'

Obama had this to say:

Ramadan Kareem (White House.gov)

Remarks of President Barack Obama
Ramadan Message
Washington, DC

On behalf of the American people – including Muslim communities in all fifty states –

I want to extend best wishes to Muslims in America and around the world. Ramadan Kareem.

Ramadan is the month in which Muslims believe the Koran was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad, beginning with a simple word – iqra. It is therefore a time when Muslims reflect upon the wisdom and guidance that comes with faith, and the responsibility that human beings have to one another, and to God.

Interesting. Pamela Geller provides a thorough analysis of Obama's words--and actions--revealing a highly interesting pattern with regard to Islam. She also provides the video of Obama's remarks.

If He Opens His Mouth....

....somebody should stuff a sock in it.

It seems the great Barry-O lies every time he opens his mouth.

One lie he has repeated incessantly is that those who oppose his healthcare plan have no plan of their own.

Well, there is some truth to that, in a way. Actually there is not one but SIX alternative proposals, one of which is bipartisan and the other FIVE offered by the GOP.

Human Events brings us up to speed on the various proposals to fix the broken parts of the healthcare system without dismantling and destroying the entire thing.

And Yet Another One Bites the Dust

My dear readers, for your own good and financial stability, do not believe the overly-optimistic words of Obama and the members of his administration concerning the economy. Do not believe the words of those outside government who have a vested interest in creating a false sense of optimism.

This economy is still at a very dangerous stage and will remain so for quite some time to come.

After last week's news that Colonial Bank failed in Alabama, which is the largest bank failure so far this year, today we learn that yet another one bites the dust.

And it's a biggie.

Obama Forced to Revise Deficit Projection Upward

The U.S. government’s long-term budget outlook is darker than expected, with projected deficits over the next 10 years totaling $2 trillion more than had been forecast, according to an Obama administration official.

A White House budget review set for release Aug. 25 will show cumulative deficits over the next decade amounting to $9 trillion, up from $7.1 trillion that the administration predicted in May, the official said on condition of anonymity because the figures haven’t been made public.

The rest of the story is at Bloomberg.

Of course, the upshot of this is that the economy is in much worse shape than anyone in the Obama administration was willing to acknowledge. Yet Obama continues to push programs that spend taxpayers' money like a drunken gang of juvenile delinquents who just stole a billionaire's credit card.

Netanyahu Secretly Capitulates to Obama Demands

In a surprising development in U.S.-Israeli relations, columnist and Middle East expert Carolina Glick uncovered this secret strategy:

This week we discovered that we have been deceived. Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's principled rejection of US President Barack Obama's bigoted demand that Israel bar Jews from building new homes and expanding existing ones in Judea and Samaria does not reflect his actual policy.

Construction and Housing Minister Ariel Attias let the cat out of the bag.

Attias said that the government has been barring Jews from building in the areas since it took office four months ago, in the hopes that by preemptively capitulating to US demands, the US will treat Israel better.

Apparently Bibi has been unable to stand firm against the enormous pressure put upon him by the Obama administration, after all. Interestingly enough, this comes at a time when Obama has lost his political capital with the majority of the American people.

"Devastating but Accurate"

It is important to note from the start that the struggle between liberty and socialism will never end, at least not in our lifetimes. If by chance it does, it will be because evil has triumphed. As long as people are free to make their own choices, some of those choices will always be for self-destruction or slavery (moral masochism). That is just the nature of human beings. However, once the slavery of socialism is self-imposed through trickery or stealth, there are no more choices. That is the weakness of a free people. The weakness of socialism is that it cannot be revealed for what it truly is until it is too late to stop it. Like all things evil, it cannot stand the light of day.

Read the whole thing here.

O's Poll Numbers Drop Like a Lead Balloon

Today we received the news that 41% (a full forty-one percent) of Americans strongly disapprove of Barack Obama's job performance.

Only 32% strongly approve.

In addition, 54% say they had rather have no change in healthcare at all than to approve the healthcare plan promoted by Congress and Obama.

All of the details can be found at Rasmussen Reports.

By the way, it is interesting to note that in just 6 months of office, Obama's job approval rating has dropped 20 percentage points--the worst of any President in 60 years.

A Printer for the Resistance

What if, as we strongly suspect, Barack Obama and his minions succeed in driving dissenting opinion and conservative, patriotic voices out of ALL of the media--newspapers, Internet, TV news, and radio?

How will we communicate?

There are various ways, of course.

But here is one way.

Proof of Obama Busing In Townhall Supporters!

Have you noticed that in each of the townhall meetings on healthcare that Obama has personally led, there has been a noticeable lack of dissent and a drastic increase in support?

Well, as it turns out there is a very good reason.

As we reported yesterday, Obama-noids got in line early in Montana to scoop up the tickets before dissenting voices could get there.

Today, we discover that Obama has been busing in loads of supporters to attend these townhall meetings where he speaks.

Gateway Pundit has 2 important reports on the Obama 'astroturfing' here and here.

And yes, we can confirm that ACORN was involved!

Fighting Back Against War on Conservative Radio

Yesterday we reported how Barack Obama intends to launch an all-out attack on conservative talk radio.

Today, we consider how conservatives can fight back against this war on ideas that are not approved by the government.

My article today at Columbia Conservative Examiner examines how broadcasters and talk show hosts can fight back. There are things ALL of us can do as well.
