******SPECIAL LIBERTY ALERT!!*******

WHITE HOUSE MOVES TO SILENCE CRITICS OF THE STIMULUS PROGRAM! FRONTAL ATTACK ON FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHTS!

A new White House policy on permissible lobbying on economic recovery and stimulus project has taken a decidedly anti-First Amendment turn. It’s a classic illustration of Big Government trying to control every aspect of a particular activity and in the process running up against civil liberty.

Check out this passage from a post on the White House blog by Norm Eisen, Special Counsel to the President on Ethics and Government Reform (emphasis added):

“First, we will expand the restriction on oral communications to cover all persons, not just federally registered lobbyists. For the first time, we will reach contacts not only by registered lobbyists but also by unregistered ones, as well as anyone else exerting influence on the process. We concluded this was necessary under the unique circumstances of the stimulus program

Further,

The key passage is the reference to expanding regulation from registered lobbyists to “anyone else exerting influence on the process. We concluded this was necessary under the unique circumstances of the stimulus program.”

This is the Camel’s nose under the tent…

Note that ANYONE, not just lobbyists, who attempts to influence process will be restricted from communicating their opinion if it is against Obama's plans!

What's Going On With Cable News Channels?

A curious phenomenon is taking place in the cable news business as it has become apparent that a major shift has occurred with viewer preference.

Decidedly pro-Obama outlets such as MSNBC and CNN are losing revenue and viewers in droves. At the same time, however, alternative sources such as Fox News are gaining new viewers by leaps and bounds.

A look at the latest ratings will reveal a shocking realignment that bodes ill for the Obama administration.

ALERT! Sotomayor Ruled Against Gun Rights!

This is a breaking news alert from the Second Amendment Foundation.

Judge Sotomayor, a New York native, ruled on a Second Circuit Appeals Court panel that the Second Amendment is not a fundamental right and does not apply to the states in the case of Maloney v. Cuomo. This ruling is in direct conflict with a Ninth Circuit Court ruling in the Nordyke v. King case in California that the Second Amendment is incorporated through the due process clause of the Fourteenth Amendment.

Thus, this is proof positive that Barack Obama has just nominated to the SCOTUS an anti-gun bigot who would vote to rob the citizens of their 2nd Amendment rights.

Time for action, my friends!

Some of the choices are an absolute hoot.

Take a look and participate HERE.

The U.N.'s Toothless Resolution Against N. Korea

Once again, the U.N. shows just how impotent and relatively useless it is in its lame response to the North Korean nuclear bomb test.

And we give billions of dollars to this monolithic joke why, exactly?

Michelle Malkin provides the latest along with a video from Monty Python on the Spanish Inquisition. Get ready for some funny but heavy-hitting sarcasm directed at the mighty U.N.

Starbucks Bombing News Blackout--The Scoop

The mainstream media refused to cover it.

But Pamela Geller has an on-the-scene account of the bombing, including info on what the locals in NYC are saying about the matter.

In addition, we find this tidbit of information:

Just for knowing, Starbucks is a Jewish owned business. A proud zionist owns it and it has been targeted previously. Back in January during the Israel Gaza defensive, the Starbucks in London(istan) was bombed. (”Smashing the Israeli war machine - Starbucks, Whitechapel firebombed” was the headline.)

It would appear the MSM doesn't wish to cover a story about Jewish victims at the hands of their darlings, the Muslim extremists.
