None of the Government's Business

Frankly, it is none of the government's business to stick it's nose into executive bonuses paid by private enterprise.

But then, neither is it the government's business to give taxpayers' money to failing corporations!

This stimulating subject is discussed in my latest column at Columbia Conservative Examiner.

Please read and share with a friend. Thank-you.

House Approves Mandatory National Service Bill

While the country's attention is diverted to economic matters, the Obama administration and the Democrats conduct ominous business under the radar screen.

Those who have warned about Obama's intention to institute a mandatory national service corp for youth were 100% correct. The bill has been introduced and approved by the House. Now it goes to the Senate.

Obama, no doubt, will sign it.

This bodes ill for the country. Many fear that this is the first step of a Chief Executive to put in place a Nazi-like youth national service corp that will serve as a way to train and brainwash young minds to not only support but advance a subversive agenda for the nation.

Woman Thoroughly Fisks San Fran Nan!

San Fran Nan, Speaker of the House, has at least one woman in an uproar over her behavior. Here is an excerpt to whet your appetite:

You, madam, are a complete failure. You’re nothing but a mealy mouthed liar, who has set women in politics back 80 years. Congratulations! The American women who follow in your footsteps will thank you, and your name will go down in history. Problem is though, it will be associated with words like, failure, scandal, disgrace, incompetence, and coming soon I hope, traitor.

Why It Matters About the Army in Alabama

OK. So, it appears at first glance that the Army did not cross the line in the manner in which they engaged in the Samson, Alabama scenario where a mass-murderer was on the loose.

But the issue such a thing brings to the forefront of our thinking is of vital importance. Take a look at this thought-provoking article that delves into the issue of the military being used in a law enforcement roll: 'Why It Matters that the Army was on the Streets of Samson, Alabama.'

The mere signal that such a presence sends, even if the motive was pure, is not what we as a nation embrace.

No Accountability for Obama, Dems

Now that we know it was Obama and the Democrats who inserted a provision in the economic stimulus bill that protects CEO bonuses, the question is, when are they going to be held accountable?

So far, the people who ran on the theme of accountability and openness in government have exhibited none.

And this is my subject of discussion today at Columbia Conservative Examiner.

It is the height of sleaze and hypocrisy to condemn CEO bonuses when you are the very ones who made sure those bonuses were protected in the first place.

Be sure to click on the link, read, and share. Thanks.

'Liberalism, Universities, and the Thought Police'

It was once understood that the university was a place where one was encouraged to explore not only new ideas but to engage in healthy debate concerning one's views on a variety of issues, politics included.

But as we have seen so often in modern times, higher education has become a vehicle by which to indoctrinate young minds. Independent thinking is discouraged if it runs afoul of the accepted dogma.

However, a serious new effort has been launched to examine just what is taking place on college campuses across America and to explore methods of addressing the tendency of academia to bury independent thought.

This study (and film) should raise some eyebrows.

Investigation Into Army Conduct in Alabama

As a follow-up to the story we posted yesterday concerning the odd use of troops to patrol the streets of Samson, Alabama in the aftermath of a mass shooting of civilians, word has come today that an investigation has been launched into the Army's conduct.

At issue is whether or not laws have been broken. U.S. Law clearly forbids the official use of troops in domestic law enforcement matters.

Increasingly, however, the lines have been blurred as to what constitutes a violation of the law.

The issue is of extreme importance in the present era in which citizens are increasingly worried about their liberty and the growing intrusiveness of government power, particularly after the election of Barack Obama.

It is to be hoped that nothing will be swept under the rug in this investigation, that if someone in command is guilty of violating the sacred trust that troops will not be used in any way to investigate or prosecute citizens, that such a person or persons will be held accountable.

Outrage! ACORN to Help Conduct U.S. Census

ACORN, the supposed 'new voter registration organization' founded and funded by Barack Obama, will be taking a major roll in conducting the U.S. Census in 2010.

We knew there had to be an ulterior motive for the Obama move to place the census under the control of the White House instead of the Department of Commerce where it belongs BY LAW.

Well, this is it.

With ACORN fully involved in the process we can be 100% certain that census numbers will be skewed in favor of Democrats so that when the process of redistricting takes place, based upon the census, the liberals will have the upper hand.

Read this special report, 'The Census Has Been Hijacked by the Left.'

Army Admits Troops Patrolled Samson, Alabama!

After photos from citizen journalists surfaced showing that Army troops patrolled the streets of Samson, Alabama during the recent mass-murder in the area, the Army has now admitted that those troops were present during a domestic law-enforcement matter.

As many have pointed out in recent days, there has been an ominous, growing alliance between law enforcement agencies and the U.S. military. Some have suggested that the Army is preparing to engage in domestic law enforcement.

Read the latest update on this shocking story here.

Bonuses Protected in Obama Stimulus Bill!

Perhaps now we should refer to Barack Obama as 'Slick Barry.'

Obama has played a good game before a gullible American public by lamenting the million-dollar bonuses being received by taxpayer bailout recipient AIG.

But late yesterday afternoon it was discovered that hidden away in the 1.2 trillion dollar stimulus bill that Obama and the Democrats rammed through Congress is a provision that protects the bonuses of CEOs and other employees of the corporations that receive the money!

What on earth are Slick Barry and the Democrats attempting to pull?

When the World Figures Out Obama Ineptitude

Americans are slowly beginning to realize that Obama is in way over his head. When the rest of the world figures that out, we may have hell to pay.

My column at Columbia Conservative Examiner enumerates the many Obama missteps and shows that the world will come to realize that this is a guy who can be bamboozled.

And then, it's 'Katie, bar the door!' We will be sitting ducks for attack.

Please read and share, and thanks for your support in this endeavor.
