Nicki tells us why most voters should not vote. Apparently she shares my dim view of the U.S. electorate. The reason for the ignorance is the dumbing down of the population over the past 40 years as opposed to the years prior to the liberal propagandizing:

The Volokh Conspiracy informs us of the latest travesty committed by Harvard U. in designating certain hours in the gym as 'women only' in order to accommodate a handful of Muslim women. Would they do the same, say, for men who do not wish to exercise with homosexuals? Read the whole outrage here:
http://volokh.com/archives/archive_2008_03_02-2008_03_08.shtml#1204777981
Volokh also has the follow-up to the story of the university employee that was disciplined because he 'read the wrong kind of reading material':

Second Amendment News Roundup for 3/5/08
Focusing on guns and politics, here is today's Second Amendment News Roundup:
As we predicted last summer right here, once Americans began to take a close look at Obama's record and views, his star would begin to fade. We see this happening on Tuesday night as Clinton wins Ohio and has a good chance of winning Texas. Fox News has the story:
http://elections.foxnews.com/2008/03/04/obama-mccain-win-vermont-primary/
In related news concerning last night's Super Tuesday II, Mike McCarville reports that John McCain has clinched the GOP nomination and Mike Huckabee has withdrawn from the race:
http://wwwtmrcom.blogspot.com/2008/03/mccain-gop-nominee-will-huckabee-opt.html
John Lott reports that the founder of The Weather Channel states that the 'global warming crisis' is a hoax. He has more info on the matter here:
http://johnrlott.blogspot.com/2008/03/new-op-ed-no-global-warming-crisis.html
Gun Law News reports that Hillary has called for more bans on so-called 'assault weapons.' Remember, her record on gun control is almost as frightening as Obama's:
http://www.gunlawnews.org/Analysis/hil030408-2.html
Say Uncle has more on Clinton's views on guns, and it is much worse than just assault weapons bans:
http://www.saysuncle.com/archives/2008/03/04/clinton_on_guns/
Snow Flakes in Hell was interviewed by Ace, and the entire thing can be found here by clicking on the link provided by Sebastian:
http://www.snowflakesinhell.com/2008/03/04/interview-with-me/
Bitter points out that Barack Obama got a bit hot under the collar when he was questioned by the Press as most candidates are. As most of us have noticed, the media, as well as many Americans, fall down and worship him when he merely utters the word 'change.' The media essentially have given him a pass in the midst of their worshipful awe. Well, that is about to 'change':
http://www.thebitchgirls.us/?p=7928
Traction Control alerts us to USA Today's...errrr...'objective' news reporting on gun bans in National Parks:
http://tractioncontrol.well-regulatedmilitia.org/?p=989
Armed and Safe has an excellent read on the 'mental health' disqualification to owning a gun, as practiced in California:
http://armedandsafe.blogspot.com/2008/03/no-real-objection.html
JR blogs about the ominous 'double-whammy' that puts gun owners in a bind:

Jane Blackwell/Cheerleader Scandal Update
Law enforcement officials in Ware Shoals, South Carolina dropped all charges against former Ware Shoals High School principal Jane Blackwell on Monday.
Blackwell had been charged last year with obstruction and lying to police in an investigation surrounding a sex scandal that allegedly involved cheerleaders and a former employee at the school.
A gag order on news reports about that case is still in effect.
For more on Monday's news about Blackwell, click here:

Too Important To Pass Up
Every now and then an article or editorial comes our way that simply begs promotion. Such an editorial is found today at The War on Guns.
David Codrea presents a guest editorial by a writer who has a highly accurate assessment of the state of the citizenry in America today, entitled 'Tribe of the Timid.' If this editorial doesn't move you to action, then nothing will.
You may ask, 'But what can I do?'
First, you can forward that editorial to as many in your sphere of influence as possible. Second, you can become what I call a 'moonlight activist,' that is, in your free time do something concrete to help save your country, such as write letters to the editor, contact your representatives both at the state and federal level, and so forth.
And then, get involved if you are physically able to do so. Join a grassroots organization of like-minded persons who believe in the same ideals of liberty that you do.
Here is the link to the editorial:

Israel on the Precipice
While we Americans are consumed and distracted by politics, particularly the politics of one dangerous and untested commodity by the name of Barack Obama, Israel, America's most important strategic ally, stands on the precipice, dangerously close to total destruction.
Israel's current leaders are the most incompetent in the history of the nation and are curiously too eager to give away large portions of land to Muslim interests in the name of 'peace.'
It seems that they are even willing to give away half of Jerusalem.
The so-called 'Palestinians' have no intention of being placated. They want the whole enchilada. They do not believe Israel has a right to exist, although Arab/Muslim interests control 99.9% of the land-mass in that area of the world.
Thus, the whole fight is about that one .1% of the land in that area...interesting, isn't it, that 'Palestinians' begrudge the Jews even that!
Caroline Glick, one of the world's foremost authorities on Middle Eastern policy, Middle East Fellow at the Center for Security Policy in Washington, DC, and deputy managing editor of The Jerusalem Post, has this thought-provoking and disturbing article on the subject here:
